Finally, a decent FO post with pictures! For fun I'm going to add as many of the zillion WIPs I have to the sidebar, as many as I can remember anyway, lol.

First up, my latest (that I have pictures of) Coachella:

I knit this in about four days using SWTC Bamboo in Electric Blue, double stranded. It only used just over two balls! I really do love it, I just wish I'd skipped the short rows so it wasn't so indecent. At some point I'm going to knit a matching piece of lace or something so I don't have to wear a tank underneath. I would have ripped it out except I really wanted to wear it to the Hanson concert I was taking my nephew to that weekend. (He's nine and it was his first concert. We had a ball! He made his shirt too!)

Next up, my self designed cable raglan tank (I really need a better name) :

I cast on with an idea and winged it. I've had a little interest for the pattern, so I'm trying to write one up that makes sense. I used about 3 1/2 balls of Cotton Ease in Popsicle Blue (I believe).

Last, a simple striped raglan out of leftover yarn, some Bubblegum Pink Cotton Ease and some Classic Elite yarn with 80% 20% wool, (Cambridge I think) which gives it a kind of entertaining texture (super soft vs slightly stiff) but I love it anyway.

Let me know what you think! I'll have been knitting for two years in October... Smiley And for the record all but Coachella was knit a few months ago, it just took me two months to take pictures and two months to POST the pictures.

Sure enough, the camera was in a VERY obvious place. Want to know where it was? (You'll die, I swear.

It was in its cute little camera cozy, tucked in the folds of my unfinished Central Park Hoodie.

I felt like such an idiot. But in brighter news, I finished that long time UFO, and my sister in now in possession of her very own Central Park Hoodie. Because of course the sleeves were too tight for me. And that was the moment I regretted using acrylic, lol. I do now have 12 balls of a very pretty blue wool I got at WEBS for my own though. When I recover I'll try again. :)

Lots and lots of FO's... no pictures. I swear, I'll do that soon, because nobody wants to look at a boring blog with no pictures. I have pictures on the camera of all my loot from WEBS (oh man, I went crazy... and actually I resisted buying quite a few things....) but I don't have time to post all that right now.

I do have pictures of one FO....

Pattern: a version of sorts of the Buttony Sweater.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (double stranded) in Turquoise and Brown.
Mods: Added stripes, made it short-sleeved.
Details: I really wanted to make this sweater, and out of a cotton blend, so I could wear it this summer. Neither color I wanted in the Cotton Fleece had more than 3 skeins , so I decided on stripes. 600 yards would be enough, right?

Not quite. I wasn't planning on looooong sleeves, but they ended up being shorter than planned. After I split for the body I realized there was less yarn than I thought, so I finished off the sleeves first, then literally knit until I ran out of yarn (which explains the shorter brown stripe at the bottom).

I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, however, and I'm in love with my buttons. I don't know if you can really see them even in the close ups, but they're all shiny and pretty.

*screams* I still can't find my camera!! Grr... and I actually have pretty stuffs to show!!!

I'm almost done my Wicked (woot!). I'd still be knitting but I've been at it all day and my hands were starting to shake. Sheesh, at 22 I'm becoming such an old woman, lol. I'm actually going to the doctor next week to see if I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have a cousin only a couple years older than me who has it, so there's a distinct possibility.

I'm actually lucky, my pain doesn't affect my knitting. Actually, I hurt more when I stop knitting. If I don't knit for a few days, I'm more sore than when I knit for 7-8 hours in a row. Weird, huh?

I'll go since I don't have any photographs. I swear, that camera must have just gotten up and walked off...

*whispers* Watch, when I DO find the stupid thing, it will be in a really obvious place. After all, I am a natural blonde.
